Prof. S.P. Pandey, he holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from KNIT, Sultanpur (UP) in 1987 and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Automobile Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur and the degree of Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering in the Mechanical Engineering in Renewable Energy area from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur (Formerly known as Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur).
Prof Pandey is associated with UGC as UGC resource person and a Margdarshak of AICTE since 2020 and an expert member of National Board of Accreditation (NBA ) since 2013 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 institutions under Washington accord since 2012 . He have worked in NIRF Committee for 2016 /17.
Prof Pandey is an Expert of AICTE_ATAL for New National Educational Policy on theme - Reinvigorating the Human Capital through Excellence in Education. He is an expert of Outcome Based Education (OBE). He has successfully Headed the institutions for Best NAAC grading as Director. Prof Pandey was committee Chairman of Employer Satisfaction Survey committee of NPIU /MHRD – World Bank Project at national level for country survey for 2017-18 and 2018-19 and 2019 -20 Batches under TEQIP III projects .
He has been awarded Bharat Sanchar Samman Award by BSNL on 01 Jan 2016. Dr S P Pandey was Director of Rajkiya Engineering College , Azamgarh, UP with an additional charge of Government Engineering College Mirzapur,UP , and G B Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology Pauri Garhwal (Government Autonomous Institutes) Uttrakhand . Also he worked as Director of Reputed Institutes such as Galgotia college of Engineering and Technology ,Greater Noida ,Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions Dadri, G B Nagar and IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad . He was also Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Kumaon Engineering College, Dwarhat, Distt. Almorah, Uttrakhand (A state government college of Uttrakhand Government). He was offered assignments by an international University , Al Jabal Al Garbi University, Gherion State, Libiya . He has around 35 years of experience in teaching and research and academic administration). He has been a member of Executive Council of AKTU Lucknow , Finance Committee of AKTU and Academic Council of AKTU Lucknow . He has been the Member and working executive of different professional bodies like Institution of Engineers, ISTE, IAENG.
